SECURE® Weed and Grass Killer Herbicide Spray is a highly effective way to help kill weeds and eliminate unwanted grasses within hours without using harmful chemicals. It is safe to use around children, people, and pets when used as directed. It is eco-friendly and qualifies as a minimum risk herbicide. It can be used in the same area as your edible vegetable and fruit plants. Although it can’t be sprayed directly on a tomato plant, it can be sprayed on weeds next to the plant with no risk posed, unlike other systemic weed poisons that have been linked to cancer. We do not use high percentage acetic acid vinegar that other products may incorporate as the EPA limits our 25b minimum risk product to only 8% acetic acid in the vinegar ingredient listed which is much like the vinegar in your salad dressing.

Description

kill weeds safelyDirections: Ready to use. Do not dilute. Read and follow all directions and precaution on this product label. DO NOT SPRAY IN THE EYES OR NEAR MUCOUS MEMBRANES. Spray directly on unwanted weeds and grasses. Do not spray directly on edible plants, but you can spray next to edible plants.

When to Apply: When weeds/grasses are actively growing. For best results apply during warm, sunny weather

(above 60º F). If it rains within 4 hours of spraying, re-treatment may be necessary.

Mature, larger weeds over 6 inches may require more than one application. Avoid spraying desirable plants. When spot treating around desirable plants, shield plants from drift with a sheet of cardboard or plastic. If desirable plants are accidentally sprayed, rinse off with water immediately. Treated areas may be replanted in 48 hours.

While staining is unlikely, as with most household products it is recommended to test for possible staining on an inconspicuous area on any hard surfaces to be sprayed (i.e. Cement, paver’s, brick, fences, etc.). Test duration of 48 hours or more is recommended.
